In 1957 lots were purchased for a new church building, then from 1958 to 1965 the building we are now in was built. The ground breaking services for our present building were held Sunday, July 12, 1959. The three oldest deacons who turned the first shovels of dirt were T. W. Wilson, E. L. Mize, and John Riddle. The buildings was completed and the dedication was held March 13, 1960. A few years later the west wing was added for more Sunday School rooms. The old building and lots were sold in December of 1959.

1965 - 1972
Additions

During the years of 1965 and 1972 the new parsonage was built and central heat and air conditioning were added to our facilities.

1974 - 1977
Paid in Full

In 1974 the note on our building was paid in full and a note burning service was held June 2, 1974. In September of 1975 our Fellowship Hall was constructed. We purchased our first sound system in February of 1977 and began our bus ministry in June of that year. Since that time we have remodeled the church offices, enlarged and remodeled our nursery, purchased pews, carpeted our auditorium, and most recently, paved the east parking lot. And, since we believe the Lord has greater things in store for us, we have begun a 10% Building Fund.
